Snake Chain

Rather than visible links, the snake chain is made up of rings which fit together closely that gives the chain an appearance of a metallic cord.  It isavailable in rhodium and 18kt gold plated sterling silver.  It is offered in several widths and lengths.

Rhodium is a chemical element with the symbol Rh and atomic number 45. It is an ultra-rare, silvery-white, hard, corrosion-resistant, and chemically inert transition metal. It is a noble metal and a member of the platinum group.  Currently Rhodium is more expensive than Gold.   Gold is about $1800/ounce and Rhodium is around $21K/ounce.  We use Rhodium (silver color) for plating even though it is costly.  To continue our quality we continue to plate with a .2mic thickness.  This is to keep the .925 silver tarnish resistant and bright silver in color
